It's been years since last I posted something on this blog. This one's not sharing experience, this one's more to telling story.
Last year I survive my first year on college with so many projects by the end of the semester. And this year, it's more projects to do before the holiday starts. But overall, I'm happy to stand where I am. And I'm happy to be who I am now. It's been years of learning, studying, experiencing, and absorbing all the knowledge that 'somehow' will be useful in the future. Seeing myself this happy is relieving (well, it's almost time to come HOME! Who wouldn't be happy then).
Reading posts that I posted years ago, I see how I myself evolve as a human being. How my thoughts grow and mature throughout the years. Maybe not that mature, but more mature than before. How my thoughts of college life and the future is not as shallow as it were before.
And here's a little story...
People tend to believe that they go to college for money and for wealth. I did think that way too. But somehow, throughout the years, I've been developing different thought. And here is the thought. When you do something you're not happy doing only for money, it won't last. But when you do something you're so passionate about, then happiness will come, followed by money. Well happiness is not just about money anyway, right? So now the goals in my life have been reversed. Not to have money first, but to pursuit happiness and passion first. That way, you'll do something you're happy about, no more stress on work, no more pain-in-the-ass boss. Just like that. See something differently and it will widen your horizon and thoughts.
This thought might be the result of me learning in my campus. And I'm happy to be here now and then. I write this down so whenever I feel like I wanna quit, I'll have something to hold on to, just by seeing this.
